Position Description
The Clinical Implementation Specialist (CIS) provides support to customers of TempTraq and VitalTraq. As a Clinical Implementation Specialist, you will be a technical and clinical liaison between customers and our internal team. The CIS will provide onsite and remote customer support, understand customer workflows, and provide support to ensure clinical success. The successful candidate will have an intricate understanding of the workflows common to the hospital and outpatient settings and familiarity with standard practices currently utilized for monitoring vital signs. The CIS reports to the Senior Clinical Implementation Specialist, who assigns account coverage, priorities, and scheduling in coordination with Sales. The CIS supports customer accounts and research sites within an assigned territory in the United States. The position is field-based and on-site at customer locations as needed.

Specifically, the following are the key responsibilities of the CIS:
Implementation and Customer Support
- Provide customer support and act as resource for the use of TempTraq and VitalTraq in the clinical setting, including implementation and workflow design.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians to understand their workflow and guide the configuration of applications to meet the clinician’s needs.
- Gather baseline data needed to quantify client success.
- Provide clinical expertise in the development of the project plan, including strategies for nursing engagement and post-go live follow-up.
- Perform all implementation activities, maintain complete and current implementation records, site files, and training documentation.
- Execute site-level strategies to enhance patient engagement and retention at assigned accounts.
- Track and report implementation of metrics for assigned accounts.
Clinical Data, Evidence, and Publications
- Contribute site-level implementation data, utilization data, clinical observations, and findings to identify areas of improvement, highlight the benefits of TempTraq and VitalTraq for healthcare providers and patients, and support abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and scientific presentations, serving as a co-author where the contribution warrants.
- Represent Blue Spark at regional and national scientific and educational conferences as assigned.
- Submit all publication and presentation activity through the Senior Clinical Implementation Specialist and the Company’s publication planning and review process, and ensure contributed data are accurate and captured in the publication tracking process supporting clinical evaluation and post-market surveillance (MDR) requirements.
Quality and Compliance
- Recognize, document, and promptly report product complaints and adverse events in accordance with Blue Spark’s complaint handling procedures, and complete all assigned complaint handling and vigilance training.
- Comply with HIPAA and customer privacy requirements and support customer information technology and information security review processes during implementation.
Other
- Act as a thought partner for continuous product iteration and refinement based on healthcare provider feedback, submitting structured field feedback through the Senior Clinical Implementation Specialist.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, including tasks that may not be specifically listed in this job description.
Requirements
Desired candidates will possess the following skills and background:
- BS in Nursing or similar clinical profession; active, unencumbered license preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within a healthcare facility. Oncology or Urology experience is a plus.
- Prior experience providing clinical support and/or training for process implementations is preferred.
- Technical background and ability to troubleshoot technical issues is an advantage, including device connectivity and mobile application issues.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy requirements in the clinical setting.
- Ability to travel up to 25-40% as needed, with access to a large airport.
- Ability to learn TempTraq and VitalTraq products and their applications for continuous monitoring of patient temperature and vital signs.
- Professionally and effectively deliver support to clinical healthcare professionals and patients.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
