Inpatient pediatric cardiac ICU assignment in Louisiana with block scheduling and full credentialing support.

Highlights

• Block scheduling; 4 to 7 consecutive shifts per month

Practice Setting

• Inpatient only; pediatric cardiac ICU
• Partner with pediatric cardiac intensivists
• Average 12-16 patients per shift
• Admissions: 2-3 per shift

Schedule

• Choose day (7a-8p) or night (5p-8a) shifts
• In-house call during shifts for assigned patients
• Flexible monthly blocks; no long-term commitment

Cases and Procedures

• New admissions and rounding with multidisciplinary team
• Manage frontline ICU calls
• Pediatric cardiac floor coverage possible on nights (2-5 patients)

Requirements

• Board Certified Pediatric NP (PNP-AC preferred)
• Active Louisiana license or IMLC LOQ
• BLS and PALS required
